Napit is one of the top 3 government registered bodies currently administering the competent persons scheme throughout the UK.

Although may be not as publically  recognised as other bodies (such as the NICEIC             ), it is rapidly becoming the preferred choice of today's qualified electrician.

Entry into their competent persons scheme requires high standards of competence from its member. They look for a recognised electrical apprentiship, along with the requirements of achieving the C&G2391 Inspection & Testing qualification and the C&G2382 17th Edition wiring regulations before being considered as a member.

Periodic inspections, 3rd party inspections for Landlords & Homebuyers and work on commercial installations are also covered under their scheme, giving customers confidence in their chosen electrician.
